Teamrider Kadri Phila wins the SBX Championsship
On 22 March, the SBX snowboard cross champions competitions held in Ruka, Finland. Snowboard cross (also SBX, Boardercross, Boarder-X ) is a snowboard competition where four riders start simultaneously an inclined course. Snowboard cross courses are typically quite narrow and includes cambered turns, gap jumps, berms, drops, and steep and flat sections designed to challenge the riders' ability to stay in control. The one who finishes first is the winner.
Our team rider and snowboard chick Kadri Pihla participated in this contest. The day before the race, all riders were allowed to explore the parcours once. During this test Kadri felt pretty hard and here board broke. On the day of the race she could borrow a board of someone else, and she has won the game! For this we congratulate Kadri with her victory! |
