That i broke my ligament and the doctor told me that i could kite for 6 months, ( realy i was was almost crying and that was long long time a go)

easy, be the 2009 world champ! i will train a lot for this but the other guys are realy good!

pkra france.

France is one!

Yesterday we had the registration day of the Pkra/mondual du-vent 2010, the forecast doesn’t look that promising but we are very faithful.

The last week i was in Tarifa for some Training, because of the eastern holiday it was quit busy we found some place,s to be alone and ride pretty good.

We almost had the whole week wind so it was pretty good, 2 days ago we flew to Gerona and my mam and dad picked us up there ofcource And we drove to Leucate where ofcource it was cold and windy,but the next day it would drop said the forecast.

Yesterday morning there was still a little bit of wind left and we drove of to La Palme a spot near leucate , the wind was little gusty there but good for 10m. Had a short session but it was alright.

Today the wind was not realy blowing but we had a skippersmeeting at 8 in the morning pfff wayy to early But Erik the racedirector was sure that there was gone be wind and it came around 9 the wind kicked in, and good. Eveyrbody start pumping there small size,s.

The day was sunny and wind i had a couple of good heats witch put me in the Final against Andy Yates we both rode realy well only i lost after a 3-2 dession , i had a more powerfull heat but he got more technical tricks.

So the singels here in France got me a 2nd place, wanted to have that 1ste place haha.

next time better hopefully the doubels will be good.

A very disappointing start!

Whats up ?

A very disappointing start you can say! In the Singles I lost the semi finals against Alex Pastor after a super close heat wich resulted in a 3-2 for ALex , who was riding really well. And finally won the singles finale as well.

Because in the losers final I won over kevin and put me in 3th place and kevin in 4th my position. Kind of hard this meant I had to go against kevin again.

In that heat i totally F#$^ it up, I crashed even before my first trick and just had the worst heat you can imagine.

Nothing to blame it on except myself! Hopefully I can get my self back together and get some good training in Tarifa and to do better in the next comp!

Finally on the wall

As you probably know i go every winter to Cumbuco for some training weeks. During that period i normally stay at the Brunotti center, The Windtown beachresort and spa.

After many years of looking towards a nice banner of Ruben they finally got rit of him and put me on there!!

Next year a new one with my new board??

Struisbaai

We stayed for 3 days in plettenberg bay and al of the days we had a lot of rain, but we did kite as well.

Yesterday we had some nice surf in the afternoon, quit big and tubing so pretty tuff. This morning we checked the waves again but it was completely rubbish, so we left towards Hermanus, on our way there we decided to stop as well in Struisbaai where we are now.

When we arrived here there was not a lot of wind and the forecast didn’t looking good as well, so we explored the place a bit and hopefully tomorrow will be some wind.
We had a great sunset only we arrived just a little bit to late, but it was still nice. So we hope tomorrow we have luck and we can ride here and the day after in Hermanus.

Ow By the way the water here is crazy blue!!

Along we go

Last days SA

last days we stayed in Struisbaai, we wanted to go to Hermanus but the wind would not be good out there. We met a local on the beach who was willing to take us to a lot of nice place,s the first place went to is Arniston, we went with 4×4 trough some sandduines and arrived at a sick wave spot , was a really powerful wave from about 5m high. After we went to struisbaai main beach witch is a mix of choppy and flat water quit nice, the day after in the morning we went o a Vlei called vogel vlei, it,s a little choppy but flat enough to get some good tricks if i have to explain how i need to get there i have no idea hahahah.

From struisbaai we drove back for about 3 ours and the last day sunday we packed al our gear and left in the evening to the aiport. We had a lot of gear but in the end we just had to pay 240-, euro witch was alright. After a long flight we finaly got home, it,s good to be back. Just for now [_YZP7937] 9th of march i will fly again to Thailand for the 1st PKRA stop.
