"From the very first moment when I was in touch with the sport I knew I was addicted and my life would change"
Pro-wakeboarder and Brunotti team rider Sanne Meijer started wakeboarding at the age of 10. Sanne won her very first world title in 2012 and two years later she took home gold in the Pro-woman category at the age of 17, which made her the youngest female wakeboarder who has ever won the pro-category at the world championships! That same year she also started wakeboarding behind the boat and in 2015 she became the first wakeboarder ever that managed to be world champion in both disciplines! During the world championships in 2015 Sanne also sustained a major shoulder injury, which she is still recovering from.
