I’m Youri Zoon and living in a small beachtown called Ouddorp in the south west of Holland. Ever since a young age I was always super active, whether it was playing outside, climbing trees, jumping bikes or building tree houses. I was always busy.
On the age of 10 I started riding my BMX and learned skateboarding. In these sports I was already pushing myself to be the best.
When I was 12 I started windsurfing and sailing. I found that the extra dimension of wind and propulsion was something I always missed in skateboarding.
Rita Arnaus from Barcelona is part of the Brunotti team since the beginning of 2017. Rita gained admiration during the World kiteboarding cup 2016 in New Caledonia where she reached the final for the first time. We are convinced that she will not only impress people with her fantastic looks, but most certainly also with here great talent and riding skills.
Salt water runs through her vain as her parents are Spanish windsurfing champions and dad was amongst the first to start kiteboarding in Spain.
Obviously, Rita couldn‘t be kept away from the water. By then she was windsurfing and sailing. It took another six years until she discovered her true passion: Kiteboarding!
Sarah-Quita! Almost no further introduction needed but in case you have forgotten; Sarah-Quita, born on the 4th of july on Aruba. Despite of her age, you can count her as the queen of windsurfing! She belongs to the ranking of most talented windsurfers out there.
This true water woman spent all her life in the water and is very stoked with the collaboration with Brunotti.
“I was born and raised in the Caribbean, on the Dutch island Aruba. I have participated in a lot of sports as a kid until narrowing it down to swimming, tennis and windsurfing. Aruba is a great place to learn windsurfing because of the shallow water and wind that blows pretty much all year long.
I am born and raised on Bonaire in the Dutch Caribbean. The passion for windsurfing started when I was 7 years old and saw the 2002 King of the Caribbean-event on Bonaire. My home-island has the perfect location at Sorobon to learn slalom- and freestyle-windsurfing fast.
After my parents rented me a board I was gone with the wind and ever since enjoying every minute on the water wherever on the globe that is. I competed in IFCA slalom and Prokids- freestyle events over the years and entered the PWA in 2011.
I am Lilian de Geus, living in Scheveningen, born in 1991 and my biggest passion is windsurfing. My hobbies are all kind of boardsports (surfing, kiting, supping) and mountain biking.
My brothers started teaching me windsurfing on a little fun board when I was 12 years old, together with my twin sister in Italy at Lake Garda.
I enjoyed windsurfing so much that I bought one slalom set in Holland from my saving money. I started racing at the windsurfing club and in the BIC Techno 239 youth class. In 2010 I was selected for the talent academy of the Watersportverbond and started competing in the RS:X Olympic class.
Joshua is a water born person who was fortunate enough to grow up with the ocean on his doorstep. His main passion in life is kitesurfing. Other things he really loves to do is surfing, skating and being outdoors.
February 25, 1994 Joshua was born in Port Elizabeth in South Africa. He moved to Durban shortly after he was born. Currently he is living in Wind capital of the World, Cape Town.
“Kitesurfing was introduced to me at a very young age. I stopped kiting for just over a year and when I started again I really started to push myself in the sport. After a few more years I moved to Cape Town to study and focus on my kiting as it was the the best place for me to do this. After my studies, my full focus went to kiting.”
Sanne grew up in the South of Holland, travels the world and does what she loves the most; wakeboarding!
“ I started wakeboarding when I was 10 years of age and from the very first moment when I was in touch with the sport I knew I was addicted. It’s really crazy how much my life has changed the past few years. I went from a horse-riding girl to a pro-wakeboarder.
I won my very first European title in 2011 in the Girls division. One year later in 2012 I won my first World title! In 2014 at an age of 17 and as the youngest rider in the Pro-women category I took home gold at the World Championships in Norway, my biggest dream became reality!
