Youri Zoon

“I’m Youri Zoon and I live in a small beach town called Ouddorp in the south west of Holland. Ever since a young age I was always super active, whether it was playing outside, climbing trees, jumping bikes or building tree houses. I was always busy.

At the age of 10, I started riding my BMX and learned skateboarding. I was already pushing myself to be the best in these sports.

When I was 12, I started windsurfing and sailing. I found that the extra dimension of wind and propulsion was something I always missed in skateboarding. When reaching the age of 13, I started to fully focus on kiteboarding and becoming a part of the top of the world. I travelled around the world as a kiteboarder and actually won 2 world titles in 2011 and 2012 and became vice world champion 2 times.”

Passionate and driven, that’s probably the best way to describe me, Isabelle Hanssen, born on April 3rd 1994 in The Netherlands. Started Freestyle Skiing in 2009. Since I’ve started skiing my whole life changed. It became a full-on addiction, and I can tell you, that there is no better feeling than landing a new trick successfully for the first time. I fell in love with the playful, creative and progressive side of the sport, and later the competitive scene. Skiing has already led me to various places all over the world.

I am a halfpipe competitor. The feeling of successfully landing a run when it matters most is indescribable. My passion for skiing and competing pushes me to always better myself, to strive for my full potential. I know what I want in life and I´m willing to work for it. For the last few years, I have been travelling all over the world to compete in high level halfpipe contests. Working hard for my goal of competing in the Winter Olympics.

Ricardo Campello is one of the most exciting and talented windsurfers in the world. Huge jumps, even bigger wipeouts, a smooth wavesailing style and let’s not forget a few freestyle world championships make him a people and fellow professional’s favourite.
Life on the PWA tour would definitely be less colourful without him but what about Ricardo’s view of being a pro.

Sarah Quita Offringa

Sarah-Quita! Almost no further introduction needed, but in case you have forgotten; Sarah-Quita, born on the 4th of July on Aruba. Despite of her age, you can count her as the queen of windsurfing! She belongs to the ranking of most talented windsurfers out there.

This true water woman spent all her life in the water and is very stoked with the collaboration with Brunotti.

“I was born and raised in the Caribbean, on the Dutch island Aruba. I have participated in a lot of sports as a kid until narrowing it down to swimming, tennis and windsurfing. Aruba is a great place to learn windsurfing because of the shallow water and wind that blows pretty much all year long.”

This power woman won 19 (!!) World titles in different disciplines: slalom, wave and freestyle. If that isn’t versatile, we don’t know what is!

“I was born and raised on Bonaire in the Dutch Caribbean. The passion for windsurfing started when I was 7 years old and saw the 2002 King of the Caribbean-event on Bonaire. My home-island has the perfect location at Sorobon to learn slalom- and freestyle-windsurfing fast.

After my parents rented me a board I was gone with the wind and ever since enjoying every minute on the water wherever on the globe that is. I competed in IFCA slalom and Prokids- freestyle events over the years and entered the PWA in 2011."

Our Island Boy Amado won his very first World title in 2021 and he came vice champion 3 times in his career. On to even more World titles!

Lilian de Geus

“I am Lilian de Geus, living in Scheveningen, born in 1991 and my biggest passion is windsurfing. My hobbies are all kind of boardsports (surfing, kiting, supping) and mountain biking.

My brothers started teaching me windsurfing on a little fun board when I was 12 years old, together with my twin sister in Italy at Lake Garda.

I enjoyed windsurfing so much that I bought one slalom set in Holland from my saving money. I started racing at the windsurfing club and in the BIC Techno 239 youth class. In 2010, I was selected for the talent academy of the Watersportverbond and started competing in the RS:X Olympic class.”

Lilian became RS:X World Champion in 2018, 2020 as well as in 2021. She also won the European RS:X title in 2019. But that’s not the only thing, Lilian competed in the Olympics in 2016 and 2021. She managed to get the 4th place in 2016 and became 5th in 2021.

Joshua is a water born person who was fortunate enough to grow up with the ocean on his doorstep. His main passion in life is kitesurfing. Other things he really loves to do is surfing, skating and being outdoors.

February 25, 1994 Joshua was born in Port Elizabeth in South Africa. He moved to Durban shortly after he was born. Currently he is living in Wind capital of the World, Cape Town.

“Kitesurfing was introduced to me at a very young age. I stopped kiting for just over a year and when I started again I really started to push myself in the sport. After a few more years I moved to Cape Town to study and focus on my kiting as it was the the best place for me to do this. After my studies, my full focus went to kiting.”

And that went pretty well. This crazy watermen makes the sickest jumps and does the wildest tricks while being out on the water. In 2017, he grabbed the Redbull Megaloop challenge title.

Sanne Meijer

Sanne grew up in the South of Holland, travels the world and does what she loves the most; wakeboarding!

“ I started wakeboarding when I was 10 years of age and from the very first moment when I was in touch with the sport I knew I was addicted. It’s really crazy how much my life has changed the past few years. I went from a horse-riding girl to a pro-wakeboarder.

I won my very first European title in 2011 in the Girls division. One year later in 2012 I won my first World title! In 2014 at an age of 17 and as the youngest rider in the Pro-women category I took home gold at the World Championships in Norway, my biggest dream became reality!”

After this she also took the 2015 World Title as well as the 2017, 2018 and 2019 European titles after also winning the European title in 2011, 2012 and 2014.
