Brunotti Hometown Series

Every product we make has a story — and it often starts with someone who inspires us. In this series, we take you behind the scenes with two individuals who shape the Brunotti world in very different ways.

You’ll meet the illustrator who brings our collections to life with bold lines and raw sketches, translating the energy of our sport into strong visuals.

You’ll also get to know a kitesurfer who works hand in hand with our design team — testing gear in the toughest conditions and proudly representing Brunotti every time he hits the water.

Two different perspectives, one shared passion. Both part of the Brunotti spirit.

Meet Tom

Born in Groningen, raised near Scheveningen, Tom found himself surfing with his brothers from early on. He decided to work for himself to surf more, and started his own design studio. He works closely with local businesses in The Hague, creating visual identities that reflect their passion and character.

We asked what the Hometown series was all about for Tom:

''The Hometown Series showcases where Brunotti began – Scheveningen, a place where the brand remains to be largely seen. For me, it's the perfect balance between beach and city, where (water)sport and work effortlessly come together. Being close to the beach allows me to surf, clearing my mind and fueling my creativity. This collaboration feels like a natural fit.''

Meet Jason

Jason grew up in Cape Town, shaped by strong winds and challenging conditions. It’s where he developed his unique riding style, known for powerful Big Air and low loops. He is a Brunotti teamrider and attends many different Big Air competitions every year.

His passion has taken him around the world — and in this series, he takes the chance to pay tribute to the place where it all began, Capetown.

As part of the Hometown Series, we took this opportunity to pay tribute to his roots. We recreated one of the most iconic images in kitesurfing history — giving it new life in the very place where his journey first took flight.
