SKI JACKETS & SKI PANTS
How to take care of your Brunotti ski jacket and pants
It is nearly impossible to keep your ski clothes stain-free. However, it is important to wash and dry your clothes before you store them. Humidity or damp can cause mold to settle into your clothes.
Before washing, make sure to check the care label. By following the advise on the label, damage will be minimal and technical features will be maintained. Avoid the use of standard laundry detergent and fabric softener.
When using standard products, the airways of the clothes get blocked. Therefore the breathability of the clothes reduce drastically. To achieve long lasting clothes, we recommend to use a special laundry detergent. By using specialised products, technical features will be maintained and stains will be removed. When the washing is done, it is important to impregnate the clothes. There are multiple products who ensure that the clothing becomes water-repellent, but maintain their breathability.
SKI GOGGLES

Brunotti ski goggle
To maintain the quality of your goggles, it is important to cover them with a case. To optimize the protection, make sure to get hold of a hardcase. Especially when you store the goggles in a bag. Whenever the goggles become foggy during your ski trip, heating is your answer.
Fogginess arises between the two lenses in your goggles. When placing your goggles next to a medium warm heating, the fog will evaporate. This prevents the goggles from fogging up in the future.
FLEECE
How to take care of your
Brunotti Fleece
It is highly important to protect your body in cold weather. But also with higher temperatures, dressing well is necessary for ventilation.
With a 3-layer system, you ensure your body to be well protected no matter the conditions. The first layer consists of thermal clothing. This layers regulates moisture or sweat. This causes your body to keep the right temperature and doesn’t cool down fast. The second layer, the fleece, ensures isolation. The final and third layer protects your body against snow and rain.
Did you know; the more often you wash your clothes, the faster it gets worn down. The Brunotti fleeces can be washed on 30 degrees. Of course, you can wash your clothes to get rid of the unpleasant smell, but try hanging them outside for a while first. Most scents leave the fabric faster this way.
Did you know; clothing can stretch up to one size bigger when they are hung up wet. Make sure that heavy fleeces and sweats dry while lying down. This ensures the fabric to not get stretched at the bottom. We recommend to put a towel under the clothing for optimal absorption.
BIKINIS& BOARDSHORTS
How to take care of your
Brunotti bikinis and boardshorts
Bikinis can last a lifetime when treating them well. They should be handwashed to maintain optimal quality.
Handwashing the bikinis ensures the padding to stay in the correct place and the fabric on the outside to keep the right form. The chlorine in swimming pools affects the fabric.
Whenever you went for a dip in the pool, make sure to rinse off the chlorine in fresh water.
Did you know; bikinis don’t like the sun. When you want them to dry, make sure they dry in the shade.
Of course, the same goes for boardshorts. Rinse them after your swim with fresh water and let them dry in the shade.

Brunotti Wetsuit
When you finally find your perfect wetsuit, you want to keep it for decades. But, just like bikinis and boardshorts, wetsuits don’t enjoy salty water as much as you do. Therefore, you should rinse your wetsuit after every session with cold or lukewarm fresh water. We recommend to immerse your wetsuit with neutral water in a big bucket. Make sure to flip your wetsuit inside out. This is all it takes to maintain the quality of your wetsuit.
Do you want to take it one step further? There is a special wetsuit-shampoo called ‘Piss off’. We all know where that name came from…

Brunotti loves a cool print on a fresh tee. But, only when the print is sharp and intact. To keep that fresh and new look, we advise you to wash your garments inside out. This way the prints are protected against laundry detergent, and maintain their fresh look.
EXTRA TIPS
DETAILS
Almost all Brunotti items include special details. These details keep their shape and form when they are taken care of appropriately.
Before washing, make sure to check the care label.
Example 1:
Grab a T-shirt with a print. These prints last longer when you flip the T-shirt inside out before putting It in the washing machine.
Example 2:
Take a hoody with a zipper; make sure to close the zipper to the top before washing the hoody. This way, the product keeps its shape and the zipper is more secured during the washing session.
WRINKLES
For people who don't like ironing (basically everybody) pay attention!
Prevent wrinkles when you store your gear. Some items will only be used once a year. For example ski equipment. Make sure to put them away correctly whenever they are out of use.
To minimize wrinkles, it is best to store your ski clothing hanging.
Lack of space? Don’t worry, when you fold your clothes neatly and big, wrinkles will be minimal as well. However, make sure to put them in a spacious box, without many additional items.
