BRUNOTTI
WASH & CARE
When you take good care of your products, they will last a long time. This way, you safe your wallet and our planet. We aren’t all kings and queens when it comes to doing the laundry. But with these tips and tricks, you can even impress your mother-in-law.
SKI JACKETS & SKI PANTS
How to take care of your Brunotti ski jacket and pants
It is almost impossible to keep your ski clothes stain-free. However, it is important to wash and dry your clothes before storing them. Humidity can cause your clothes to mold.
Before washing, check the wash & care label. By following the advice on the label, the damage will be minimal and the technical characteristics will be retained.
Avoid using standard detergent and fabric softener, as standard products reduce the breathability of the clothes. To enjoy your clothes for a long time, we recommend using a detergent that is special for outdoor clothing. By using this, technical characteristics are retained and stains are removed. When the laundry is ready, it is important to impregnate the clothes. There are several products that ensure that the clothes become water-repellent, but retain the breathability.
SKI GOGGLES
How to take care of your
Brunotti ski goggle
To maintain the quality of your goggles, it is important to cover them with a case. To optimize the protection, make sure to get hold of a hardcase. Especially when you store the goggles in a bag. Whenever the goggles become foggy during your ski trip, heating is your answer.
Fogginess arises between the two lenses in your goggles. When placing your goggles next to a medium warm heating, the fog will evaporate. This prevents the goggles from fogging up in the future.
FLEECES & SWEATERS
How to take care of your Brunotti Fleece
It is very important to protect your body in cold weather. But also at higher temperatures, good dressing is necessary for ventilation.
With a 3-layer system you ensure that your body is well protected, regardless of the circumstances. The first layer consists of thermal clothing. These layers regulate moisture or sweat. This keeps your body at the right temperature and does not cool down quickly. The second layer, the fleece, provides insulation. The last and third layer protects your body from snow and
rain.
The more you wash your clothes, the faster they get worn out. The Brunotti fleeces can be washed at 30 degrees, but try hanging them out for a while first. Most smells also disappear in this way.
Large and heavy garments can stretch to a size larger if hung wet. Make sure that heavy fleeces and sweaters can dry while lying down. This ensures that the fabric at the bottom is not stretched. We recommend putting a towel under the clothes for optimal absorption of the moisture.
BIKINIS & BOARDSHORTS
How to take care of your Brunotti bikinis and boardshorts
Bikinis can last a lifetime if treated well. They must be washed by hand to maintain optimal quality. By washing the bikinis by hand, the padding stays in the right place and the fabric on the outside to maintain the correct shape. The chlorine in swimming pools affects the substance. If you have taken a dip in the pool, make sure to rinse the swimwear in fresh water. Bikinis don't like the sun. If you want to dry them after rinsing, hang them in the shade.
The same goes for boardshorts, of course. After swimming, rinse them in fresh water and let them dry in the shade.
BRUNOTTI WETSUITS
How to take care of your Brunotti Wetsuit
When you finally find your perfect wetsuit, you want it to last for decades. But like bikinis and board shorts, wetsuits don't like salt water as much as you do. Therefore, you should rinse your wetsuit with cold or lukewarm fresh water after each session. We recommend immersing your wetsuit in a large bucket. Make sure to turn your wetsuit inside out. This is all it takes to maintain the quality of your wetsuit.
Do you want to go a step further? There is a special wetsuit shampoo called ‘Piss off ’. We all know where that name came from ...
RASHGUARDS

Our Rashguards or Surf Shirts protect you from the sun with the integrated UPF50 protection. However, you have to protect your rashguard from damaging. Since they are made out of bright colors, make sure to put them in the laundry machine with similar colored items.
JACKETS WITH PADDING

Our padded jackets assure you to stay warm during the cold winter days. To keep this padding intact, wash your jacket no more than once a season.
GARMENTS WITH PRINTS
How to take care of your Brunotti clothing with a print
Brunotti loves a cool print on a fresh tee. But, only when the print is sharp and intact. To keep that fresh and new look, we advise you to wash your garments inside out. This way the prints are protected against laundry detergent, and maintain their fresh look.
EXTRA TIPS
DETAILS
Almost all Brunotti items include special details. These details keep their shape and form when they are taken care of appropriately. Before washing, make sure to check the care label.
Example 1: Grab a T-shirt with a print. These prints last longer when you flip the T-shirt inside out before putting it in the washing machine.
Example 2: Take a hoody with a zipper; make sure to close the zipper to the top before washing the hoody. This way, the product keeps its shape and the zipper is more secured during the washing session.
WRINKLES
For people who don't like ironing (basically everybody) pay attention!
Prevent wrinkles when you store your gear. Some items will only be used once a year. For example ski equipment. Make sure to put them away correctly whenever they are out of use.
To minimize wrinkles, it is best to store your ski clothing hanging.
Lack of space? Don’t worry, when you fold your clothes neatly and big, wrinkles will be minimal as well. However, make sure to put them in a spacious box, without many additional items.
RE-USE AND RECYCLING
If (in some kind of strange way) you are done with a Brunotti item, we recommend that you give the piece a second life. There are various websites such as Vinted, Marktplaats or Sellpy where you can hand in your item and get money in return. With that money you can view our latest collection.
You can also donate the stuff to a secondhand shop or charity.
And if you can no longer sell or give the item away, throw it away in a sealed bag in a clothing container, there are certainly also clothing bins in your area. In this way, the materials that the products are made of can be recycled again.
